Whether you’re small or big, it can feel safe with a small lamp that lights up the darkness if you wake up in the middle of the night. This one also switches off automatically at the break of dawn.

BrightTaniaI use these for my pets at night. Great amount of light.5
Not made for AUS marketSarahThese would be amazing IF they actually worked in the AUS market. But they don't and I wish I had looked at the other reviews before I bought 4. I now have 4 lights I can't use. As others have mentioned the sensor is underneath so (unless your power outlt is upide down or on the roof) it alyas thinks its dark, so they stay on always.1
Light good BUT Light Sensor Upside down for AustraliaGraemeAlthough this is a good night light, it is upside down for Australian power points. The sensor is on the bottom of the light when plugged into a normal Oz power points. The manual shows it plugged with the light sensor on top BUT this is not possible in Australia. Just needs to be redesigned for Australian conditions!3
Doesn’t workIliaSensors are on the wrong side1
Flawed design for Australian power socketsAndrewI foolishly bought these before reading the Australian reviews. As others have already said, they have been manufactured upside down so the light sensor faces down making it almost impossible to detect enough daylight to turn off during the day. Meaning avoidable running costs if they were designed correctly. Even the manual shows an Australian socket installed upside down!?! SMH2
Bad lightsMaheepI just got these lights not even a month ago. And 1 of that has already stopped working. Very bad quality1
Works OKNickWorks OK. It comes on when it is still a bit light and the light is a bit bright for a kids night light. Still a good product and well priced3
Functions ok but not for AustraliaKevinGreat product for use in dark rooms like the bathroom. It switches on but does not switch off because the light sensor is in the wrong location - it is on the bottom and the light itself casts a shadow causing it to never switch off. I have one in the kitchen next to a window but have to manually turn it on and off.4
Bad designAndrewDo note the sensor of ambient brightness is located at the bottom of the light, which mean it'll stay light up even at day time, if the room is just slightly dark/with no direct sunlights.1
Simple, does the job.VeronicaSimple, no fuss with extra batteries, as expected.5
Not for publishing - Serious complaintEdwardDisappointed, unfortunately. I had these in Europe (for about half the price in AUD!) and they were great, but here the sensor is always on the shaded bottom, not the top, so they stay on during the day. This suggests a better design would be adjustable, so the sensor can be turned towards natural light or away, depending on the position of the sun and your needs. Could you please send me 2 adaptors so I can turn these upside dow for use in Australia? Thanks! :-)2
Very useful RhiannonGot these because I was soon to be in labour and wanted to keep the lights off. Bright enough to use the bathroom without needing the lights on.5
Could be betterNickiIt would be great if Ikea made a different version of these that had a motion sensor so that the lights only turned on when someone enters the room rather than staying on all night until morning (wasting power and costing money).3
Great nightlightJadeUnfortunately the sensor for daylight turn off doesn’t seem to work for us but that’s not an issue, I just unplug it in the morning but the actual light is perfect, very soft lighting and works great to light my kids rooms 5
Morkradd nightlightsAnonymous reviewernice, soft light but enough to navigate area (bathroom). would have liked a sensor version.5
Very bright!SylviaFor a small apartment, one of these shines the way quickly. For a child's bedroom, it is perfect for a guide to the bathroom and back to bed. Great near kitten/puppy sleep areas when acclimatising in a new home.5
Good 👍AllanGood product5
