It may look small, but this desk actually has lots of storage. The shelves can be adjusted to fit different things and the cable outlet at the back keeps cables organised.

Product details

You can adjust the shelves to fit different things, and adjust them again whenever you need to. Adjustable shelves help you use your space more efficiently.

Extra room above the top shelf where you can keep your books, CDs or DVDs. The side panels act as bookends and keep everything in place.

It’s easy to keep sockets and cables out of sight but close at hand with the cable outlet at the back.

You can mount the storage unit to the right or left, according to your space or preference.

Air ventilates effectively around your computer or other equipment because of an opening in the back panel.

Drawer stops prevent the drawers from being pulled out too far.

You can extend your work surface by combining desks and drawer units. All desks and drawer units in the MICKE series are the same height.

You can attach magnets to the metal surface and use it as a pin board.

Not matching color!!!Nguyen Thuc VyThe picture shows a brown table, but in reality, they only have black and white ones. They should remove the picture of the brown table and replace it with a black one. However, the staff was very polite. Also the add on shelf is not sturdy, they should secure it front and back instead of just securing it at the back with a few screws. I was only annoyed by the lack of clarity in the images and information on your website.3

My daughter loves itPeterAssembly was relatively straightforward and we liked the flexibility of choosing which side the cupboard/shelf unit was. It would have been useful if the backing board extended behind the top shelf of the hutch so that items placed there don't fall over the back. In addition, having a backboard behind the cupboard unit would stop items being pushed off the shelves behind the desk. I solved both issues by purchasing 3mm laminate from Bunnings and cutting to size, but would have been nice not to have to.4

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
