Great DeskLorindaBought this desk about 14 years ago and had it for years. Gave it to family when we moved to a house with a built in desk. Have since moved again and was happy to see that they still make the same design. Not too big, but good size for laptop and paperwork. Draws are good for storing those little items out of sight. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a great home office desk.
Wobbles makes working at it insufferableMaxTrying to type or write leads to horrible wobbbling even when assembled correctly and screwed in tight. Doing work feels more like an earthquake simulator then actually doing work. Thought that the low profile meant that it would sacrifice some rigidness not all of it.

Simple & stylish desk for any room and purpouse SarkaI love this sleek, stylish and simple desk. Enough to put on a computer screen, another laptop and a little printer or just to spread my documents around. Has two big enough drawers for some documents or other office necessities. I placed this desk in my bedroom as it matches my other furniture and its skinny enough to fit along the wall in our not very big bedroom as we don't use another office space. Looks great just not sure on superb surface/wood quality, will see how long it lasts without scratches, was thinking to top it up with some glass cover to last much longer. Also thinking to add some extra drawers underneath or next to it as its not the biggest space inside the drawers, yet it does fit a bit. It was cheaper than other desks there so great product for its value. Very easy to assemble too. I would recommend to others.

Poorly made - so disappointed.RachelI bought this desk with high hopes as it looked slimline and attractive. Unfortunately the drawers and runners are very poorly constructed. The drawers only hook properly on to the runners on one side (right) and slide freely on the other (left). When assembled, the drawers hang unevenly, leaving large gaps on the left side where the drawer rail is only just managing to stay on the runner. It looks cheap and nasty. As this desk is in our lounge room for my daughter’s tutoring I will have to look at it daily. So disappointed as other IKEA items I have purchased have been well made.

What is constructed board?
We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
