The cushion is not thick enough and I doubt it would be comfotable for a gaming chair. I've used this for the past 7 months and can confirm that it is indeed uncomfotable. But I'm giving 2 stars for the design. It looks ncie but is deeply uncomfortable.2

Best chair for full support + recliner optionEmmaI know it might sound counterintuitive to buy a gaming chair to pair with a new sit-stand desk but I am so glad I did. I have better posture, my head is rested and my arms get the full support I need for the perfect ergonomic positioning. The chair is super comfortable and I love how you can lean way back on it when you want to rest a bit and let your ideas simmer. It's bigger and takes up more room but looks chic in the grey that I got making it look less masculine /corporate office-like vibe. Should have upgraded my desk chair years ago!5

No recliner locking mechanism - seat too firm over prolonged sessionsGavinI wouldn't recommend this for anyone that might be intending using this for 8+ hours a day (work/gaming).
There is no locking mechanism for the recliner (ie. it freely rocks back and forth).
That's my fault for not noticing in the description, but thought worth mentioning in case anyone else does something similar.
To make it worse, the chair does not recline back far at all - the reclining of the chair maxes out about 10-20 degrees from sitting completely upright.
Because of this, your upper body is actively engaged at all times in order to keep the chair reclined, otherwise you just rock right back to upright position again.
If it reclined a small amount more, your weight would be enough to keep the chair reclined - very poor design.
The seat is quite firm and, after a few hours, becomes a little uncomfortable.
And the material has zero airflow, so it gets extreeeemely sweaty after a while if you're in a hot environment, and is no comparison to a good mesh seat.2

The only reproach I would do is that sometimes I like to recline the back a bit while I think and the chair doesn't move much. But it could be that we tightened everything too much!4
