Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.

Love it!JessicaI bought a queen version of this 5 years ago and I still absolutely love it. I stand on the wooden frame all the time to reach things and it’s as solid as a brick building. Doesn’t squeak. The drawers are massive. I will never go back to a non storage bed again. I just regret not getting a king frame as you can use the edge to put things and it would be nice to have more room or the option to move to a king mattress in future. I use the drawers at the head of the bed to store things I need less often so I have bed side tables and I drag them out of the way on the odd occasion I need those drawers. Don’t know why other people complain about this when it’s common sense. Assembled it on my own pretty quickly and have moved house with it and it’s still sturdy.

Don’t get itAnonymous reviewerHad this bed for almost a year now. It looks great, but this bed is for light lonely people. It creaks, the joints break easily, the midbeam is a poorly joined piece of wood, it’s actually like 3 pieces of wood bonded together. I only know this because mine neatly failed into 3 pieces. Also if you like side tables, you can’t have them with this bed well not anywhere convenient unless you find something cantilevered. This is a classic Ikea form over function failure.
Okay bed frame, very solid, but not a fun build..KathrynThere were missing holes for the bolts/screws on one of the drawer slides. Building the drawers was a bit tricky.

UPDATE:
Have now had the bedframe for 5 years and will need to replace my next move/a few more years. The bedframe squeaks a lot and our first move caused a lot of the screws to snap and wood to splinter around the holes. I don't think it will survive a 2nd move. Really disappointing, but at least it is still cute, and love not having a headboard.
Mandal bed frame squeeksCliffWe love the look of this bed frame and its sturdy construction. However after 8 months when we make activity on the bed it is now creeaking more and more and we are worried it will break!

Basic yet so very complicatedPeitaConstuction was so time consuming & complex, a few missing pieces and 1 drawer still doesn't work. Mattress just sits on top which means it moves around a bit. Looks good but not happy with functionality.
7 years in and going strongMichaelI bought this bed in 2016 and it has performed really well. Design is understated, it makes the bedroom feel big, and slats and frame are holding up wonderfully.
The drawers are a bit on the flimsy side, but fine for storing jumpers and scarves.

Good looking and pretty good to put together.JuliaThis bed took me hours to assemble but I’m happy with the result. It looks great and fits the queen mattress really well.
My only issue is that the screws to assemble the drawer runners are really poor quality. They didn’t go into the screw holes very well and would get eaten up by my screwdrivers far too easily.
We managed however and am happy with the bed. It’s exactly what we were expecting.

Only took a couple hours to construct from the instructions, pretty easy, just a matter of making sure you read instructions once through, organise your tools and supplied pieces in order of steps (matching the pieces to the drawings). I enjoy putting things together like a puzzle but that’s just maybe me. If you’re thinking about purchasing this bed do so ! Has amazing storage space and quality bed, comfortable and sturdy !
