Almost perfect - back sleeperLaraI love the good height this pillow has - for me, there's nothing worse than feeling like you're sliding backwards up the bed when it feels like your head is below the level of your feet. The generous fill in this pillow does away with that instantly. It's got IKEA's great, heavy-duty zip-off-able cover, so you can wash the outer of the pillow without having to get the fibre fill wet, or if you like, you can replace the standard zip cover with a cooling (or heat-retention) one - whatever floats your boat. And I like the "big" size of IKEA's standard pillow range. I like the fact it fits taughtly inside a pillow case - for me that means it doesn't slip half out of the cover every night, leaving you sleeping on a piece of pillow (that you can't wash, most of the time) from brands that charge a lot more than IKEA. Because of its height, I'd be a little wary of giving this pillow to kids to sleep on, or monitor them for alignment issues if you do.5

How to care for your ergonomic pillow

With a little care, you can prolong the life of your ergonomic pillow and keep it fresh. It is important that you do not wash the foam, as this will affect the pillow's quality and function. However, you can always wash the outer pillow cover. Remove the cover from the foam and machine wash at max. 40°C, regular cycle. Tumble dry on low heat, max. 60°C.
