Does the job efficientlyGaelMy previous squeegee was made with a 2-part handle, which came apart after 2week’s use. Probably stuck together with water-soluble glue. 😞
So i was pleased to see Ikea’s squeegee has a 1-piece handle.
Now i will see if its open-ended design catches water too efficiently and goes mouldy (:(… also whether the clip arrangement holding the handle to the blade at a natural pivot point, doesn’t come adrift.
A good point is the hanging hole provided in the handle, for a string or rope strap, providing me with an opportunity to colour-co-ordinate the squeegee with my bathroom decor.
The blade seems to work ok in scraping off the residual shower water from the glass walls. Anything to delay the onerous task of scouring soap scum off!

Don’t waste your moneyKatrinaYou get what you pay for as they say! Doesn’t squeegee water off glass very effectively & makes a terrible sound as it drags (not glides) over it. Blade doesn’t evenly move the water & barely half the water sheds no matter what angle you hold it at! Do not buy!

Works brilliantly but has a lifespanScottThese work brilliantly when cleaning the shower, as we do after ever use of the shower. However, we have found d that they only last about a year under our usage, before the blade becomes too firm/hard and they lose their effectiveness. We have no issue replacing them at such time.

Not the best designElaineYou’ll need to ensure you purchase a very straight orange rubber attachment if not it leaves streaks / areas where it doesn’t clean well on glass. I bought mine in a haste thinking they’re all the same and mine has a section of the rubber that was bent. That didn’t go well on the bathroom glass door.
