Wheels are locked CarolineThe wheels have safety locks on them which means you can't roll your chair back under the desk without pushing down on it to release the locking springs in the wheels. It should come with an easy way to turn off this feature.
Strong, looks good, odd wheel locks.MarcI'm mostly happy with this... it's strong, it's not "office-grey/black" the movements are smooth and it's easy to assemble. The "wheels lock when not sat in" things seems like bug-posing-as-a-feature thing - as someone mentioned, pushing the chair back into your desk or moving it when not sitting in it... locked wheels. Odd, annoying (to me). But I've been happy with this base otherwise.
