Very flexible, basic (in a good way) yet stylish deskMarioI have an electric sit/stand desk, but it would get cluttered by my "technical stuff" (Soldering iron, bench multimeter, etc. The Lagkapten + OLOV legs now functions as a desk-return, for my technical stuff. The legs are brilliant as they twist and lock up to any height (within their range) and my Alex 4-drawer unit fits perfectly underneath.

It’s pretty hard to fix the table top when you can’t see where you are tightening it as it sits on the top and you have to tight it up from below and one of them needs to be tightened from inside the drawer
Well, pretty 2-3 hours job to make one as you can’t use power tools

Glad assembly is overCharlesThis is a good looking desk top, but attaching it to the Alex drawers was a nightmare. The wordless instructions show the cartoon characters laying the Lagkapten on top of the Alex and you screw the two pieces together through the pre-drilled holes. Except it is difficult to line up the holes. The instructions offer no advice on how to do this. You just have to keep trying until you're lucky to get it right.
Mix and match office furniture WendyLove the desk tops from IKEA. We just had a complete redo of all our bedrooms and office areas and remixed the original tops, drawers and legs.

Good quality and more durable than I thoughtCharlieI purchased this as a way to make a new desk with my old expensive legs. When I took it out of the box, the underside was not melamine laminated (to be expected at this price) but surprisingly had pre drilled holes. After moving it, it hit some walls as I assembled it in the living room and it had to go into a bedroom. 0 damage whatsoever, no chips, no scratches, no dints. Well done IKEA for this quality product!
