good looking with a great warranty.EugeneI purchased two of these taps because they had a good warranty and fantastic value for money. The come with PEX hoses so much less likely to burst.
Exceptional valueBobWhat a great product. And to think back, I was putting off the faulty kitchen mixer tap replacement project for years, fearing installation complications.

Lagan mixerKimleygreat quality product at a good price.
Disappointed in apparent lower quality nowGeorgeThis was once a top notch kitchen sink mixer tap. But manufacturing costs obviously increased leading to a price increase from $39 to $49. However recently the price has dropped back to $39 again. Unfortunately this appears to have been achieved via a reduction in quality. The nice thick hoses have been replaced with cheaper thin hoses. Not sure how long these thin hoses will last. But the thicker old ones lasted forever! At least the hoses are still 450mm long,. Thats a handy 100mm longer than a large hardware chain's inferior product being sold at a similar price and with only 12 months warranty. Lets see if these new hoses last through the (newly introduced) 10 year warranty period. Otherwise probably the best value kitchen sink mixer tap on the market!
Good tap are good price.JulietteThis tap was easy to install and is good value for money as with most things from IKEA

Material
What is brass?
Brass is a mixture of copper and zinc and the amounts vary depending on the desired properties. Copper is usually the main material and the more zinc you add results in the brass being harder and stronger, but also results in it being more difficult to shape and less resistant to rust. Brass can be recycled as brass but never into its original metals. At IKEA we use brass for things like knobs, handles, frames and taps.
