Looks great - except broke before we got homeMaryLove the look of it. When we opened the packaging on our return home - it was already broken - the middle glass level. Definitely not packaged well. Had to take it back and buy another one - which I opened up in the store to make sure it was not broken. Wrapped it in two large beach towels, and got it home all in tact. It is really lovely - we use it for fruit.3

The only difficulty was displaying the food on the oval shaped shelves as they had a significant curve. This meant food such as cupcakes, which have flat bottom, were difficult to arrange. Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
