Cracks Easily and Slips Around — Not Worth the MoneyJaiVery disappointing quality after 1.5 years. I bought this IKEA KOLON floor protector hoping it would protect my floor under my chair, but it has started cracking and breaking apart in the areas where the chair wheels put the most pressure. It is also extremely slippery on the floor. Unless it is held in place by furniture legs, such as under a desk or drawer unit, it keeps sliding around, which can be unsafe. I removed the protective film after purchase as instructed. For the price, I expected it to last much longer. In my experience, it is not durable enough for regular chair use and ends up being a waste of money. IKEA describes KOLON as suitable for protecting floors under a work chair, but it did not hold up for me.1
