I was able to place the rubbery edge of one over the other in the middle, so the join is the same size as the black strips in the design, and the surfaces hold together well.
Love the feel and look of these mats. They are really classy, great on my wooden floor. The underside holds perfectly to the floor, they don’t move at all. Super happy with these!5
