Old version was betterNicoleWe bought one of these to try out and then a year later we purchased these two (one for each kid) and these two now have broken legs and just aren’t built as sturdy. They get a lot of use but we have been careful. They get original one is still going strong. I’m not sure what changed between the models but the durability has decreased with respect to the legs.

A piece broke off second time usingTamaraI don’t like how the arms click into place, a small piece of plastic broke off second time using. I prefer the old wooden style where the arms just fold out. My kids wouldn’t be able to set this up, therefore no breakfast in bed for me. And one is a very capable 12 year old

Klipsk look great and appear functional but was broken inside the package. ChristineI bought 2 x Klipsk. The hinges were broken on one of them and fell out of the packet as I opened it, they appear to be quite flimsy so I didn’t even open the second one and will return both to IKEA for refund. Nice idea but the hinges need to be stronger than a small lug on each side.
Klipsk bed lap trayStewartI used it for three or four days before the plastic pivot point broke one of the legs. My healthcare worker broke it. Due to too much force being applied without reading the instructions. My opinion is that it is a design weakness together with inadequate instructions. I’m close inspection it is intuitive but if you try and do it without observation you may damage the legs as was done to my table. I will be purchasing another table when the colour I want is back in stock. I really like the fact that I can use my iPad and iPhone in the little slot at the front. This enables me to message my sister and read along when I am watching my TV for some things . An absolute space saver and convenience while eating meals. I have not given up on this trade design yet

Also legs hard to fold 1 out of two sets snapped on first use. Other was fine so it may have just been a faulty one

Large sticker underneath ruins an otherwise great productJoeyWhy is there a need to stick a 15cmx21cm adhesive label on the underside of a plastic table? It is both unsightly and extremely difficult to remove! The product is wrapped in plastic so a piece of paper could have easily been slipped inside the package for the same purpose. This could have been a great tool for the home office. Now it is just a piece of plastic junk with sticky residue.
