This modern pot in black-blue cast aluminium has two spouts and strainers, sol-gel non-stick coating and beautiful wooden handles. Perfect for all dishes – and great for serving from directly at the table.

KLIPPFISK pot with lid has a modern and colourful design, making it perfect to place on the table and serve from.

Works well on all types of hobs, including induction hob.

The hardwearing sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating reduces the risk of food burning or getting stuck.

The lid has a soft closing silicone rim, handy thumb pads and 2 different strainers for a versatile usage

The glass lid allows you to monitor the contents of the pot during the cooking process.

Steam vent reduces pressure so that food does not easily boil over.

Comfortable wooden handles and knobs make it easy to lift the pot and remove the lid.

Made from aluminium, which spreads heat evenly and energy efficiently, and makes it easier to regulate heat so the food does not burn and stick.

Easy to use and clean by hand, thanks to the non-stick coating.

The pot has a rounded interior, which makes stirring and beating easy.

Surprisingly lightJohnThis is mostly a well designed and well made high walled nonstick pot that is perfect for my needs. The nonstick coating is very good and only time will tell how it holds up. Design looks stunning and I expected it to be heavy from the looks but it's quite light yet sturdy. The lid is also nice with a rubber edge that helps with positioning the lid when you want let more steam out than in the normal position and also has a meat feature to let out steam when fully closed. The wooden handle on the lid can come loose which is not a big deal but didn't expect that to happen. The wooden handles on the pot don't get hot but be careful as the touched the metal part very briefly. It's my only complaint where the design has preferred form over function Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase and I expect it to last a while given the "highish" price tag.5

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties.
