This cover is made of dope-dyed Gunnared fabric in polyester. It is a durable fabric with a wool-like feel, a warm look and a two-toned melange effect.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.
We have many removable covers to choose from, so you can always find one that you like for your new sofa or when you want to update the one you have at home with a new cover.

Lint on the coverNatashaI am writing this review after 3 months of purchase. The sofa cover has got lint all over it within only 3 months. Really discouraging after paying so much for this specific cover.

These sofas have held up remarkably well over the years despite being well-loved, jumped on, and spilled on. The quality is incredible; they’ve kept shape and haven’t lost any of their plush softness. I originally chose a white and latte colour, and now, years later, the covers have evolved into a light white-grey with a black fleck, which I absolutely love. The new colour combination is just perfect for my home, and everyone who visits always comments on how stunning my sofas are. They’re a true winner in both comfort and style. What I appreciate most is how easy it is to change and wash the covers. I love being able to refresh the look of my living room, and I’m grateful for how durable and washable the fabric is. I’d love to see the white covers available again in cotton or linen, but regardless, these sofas are a staple in my home, and I will never throw them out. I’m a Kiviv fan for life.
The best! Anonymous reviewerAmazing! It has endured toddler toilet training accidents as well as vomiting. Being able to strip it an wash it is the best thing ever! Fabric washes out really well on a basic wash setting and dries quickly. It has also been drawn on with whiteboard marker that has washed out after two or three washes. Could not recommend anymore highly if you've got toddlers and kids.
And so much more comfortable than I expected. Surprisingly thick cushions that hold their shape really well.

New life for my couch!JenniferVery pleased with these covers - gave my ikea couch new life instead of buying a whole new one! The covers themselves were more expensive than I was hoping for but still much more economical than buying a new couch.
Firmness different from showroomLaurenceAfter many visits to the IKEA showroom, I decided on the Kivik 3 seater in the Gunnared light green.
I was sold on how comfortable it felt and the build quality, however once assembled at home, I was very disappointed at how firm the sofa was.
Is has been mentioned many times in the reviews, so I was very conscious when testing the sofa in store, that is was indeed soft enough for our liking.
For anyone contemplating buying this sofa, be aware that the cushion seats will be a lot firmer than the showroom ones.
I'm not sure if the showroom sofa was an older version with softer cushions or if it had softened from people trying it out.
Either way I find this sofa just too firm.

Fabric is only on one sideEbonyVery disappointed with fabric only on one side on the seat cushions and the fabric rolls over the edges of the cushions and doesn’t sit right.

Only downside is I found getting the cushions into the covers quite tricky, almost as if it was a size too small. Did manage to eventually get it on but the cushion is no longer a perfect rectangle as the cover pulls it down.

Lovely fabric, great colour, completely uncomfortableStephenI returned it yesterday because it is far too firm and unyielding to get truly comfortable. Disappointing because it looks great in that green blue jumbo corduroy fabric.
