HappyArleneI’m very happy with how these chairs turned out. The instructions were relatively easy to figure out and I just went step by step. There’s not a whole lot of pieces to build so it’s not hard. I bought 2 chairs and was really happy with the outcome, they feel sturdy and strong and look good. The back of the chair is not as high as I expected, I’d say it comes to about the middle of your back. I’d have preferred a proper high back stool but in the end it still looks good and I’m really pleased with how good they look at my kitchen bench. 5

Having had stools without backs before, and found them very uncomfortable, I wanted stools with both a back and seat cushion. They're comfortable to sit in for an extended period and I love that the covers are washable. Perfect for the grandkids too.5
