Sturdy and useful lampKeeranMy overhead lights act like heaters in the summer and one is right in my eyline sitting at my desk, so I wanted a lamp. Searching the Ikea website I decided on a floor/reading lamp as having two different lamps in the one unit suited my purposes - I could have one brigher and one dimmer. So went into Ikea but when I compared my chosen lamp to the Hektogram it was clear that the Hektogram was the much better quality product. Now that I've had the Hektogram for a month, I'm very pleased with it. Very sturdy unit and throws out much less heat than an overhead light. The swivelling reading lamp is great for when I want to direct light here or there. It's worth investing the little extra $$ in this lamp - it's still really cheap!5

modern, compact, practicalAnnI bought this lamp to replace a lamp that had broken. The smaller work light is great when I'm hand sewing and the larger uplight lights the room on a cloudy day. The little buttons to turn it on are well placed. The lamp is sturdy and doesn't wobble. The top light fitting is only plastic but it looks fine. I'm happy with my purchase as I didn't want anything expensive or fancy. The lamp was easy to assemble.5
