Care

Dark wood knots visible under paint and badly finished edgesLyleIn all the product photos this unit has a flat opaque white finish. It is not like that in person. I ordered two and both of them have visible dark spots where the knots in the pine are visible under the white paint due to the lack of opacity. Additionally, on many of the corner edges of the panels the paint is already worn off revealing the wood underneath. Disappointing considering the price. Functionally they are great, but I just wish their finish was depicted more honestly online. Some of the hinges never completely shut the doors totally flush too, no matter how much I have adjusted them. A simple magnet latch would have been great to include. 1

I’ve bought several of these cabinets before and this one has to be the prettiest and the easiest to assemble compared to earlier models. The glass looks lovely and the entire unit is true solid wood.
