Super disappointed with HavstaKirstenFirst off, I have to say that im a huge fan of IKEA. Over the years I’ve installed several IKEA kitchens, a laundry, and built countless Billy and Kallax cabinets for myself and my kids. But these Havsta cabinets (I have two, both with the upper cabinets on top) have been a real disappointment. They feel cheap and less sturdy than other cabinets, and getting the doors on straight has been an ongoing nightmare. We have given up on the glass upper doors altogether, and are now just using that as open shelving. We are just living with the wonky lower doors. 😩 Also, several fastenings broke whilst we were constructing them. Of course I got these promptly replaced I sore, but I think it speaks to the lesser quality of these (not inexpensive) cabinets. I’m hugely disappointed with them and would not buy them again. I definitely don’t recommend. Sorry IKEA. But i do love the Pax wardrobes my husband has just installed for me.1
Good but could be betterRobynI love my Havsta cabinets and don’t regret buying them. They function well and have served us well for several years now. But, the wood knots bleed through the stain leaving beige spots showing through the white. We plan to paint them and use a stain blocking primer to stop the beige seeping through.4

Beautiful, but I had door trouble.AmandaI absolutely love the look and natural wood feel of this cupboard. I have two and they look great as a feature. However, on both, I really struggled to get the doors to close neatly and I still can't make them work. I think I need a video to problem solve the door alignment as I got a bit lost in the instructions. The levelling feet are great - I didn't know before this that my floor isn't level : )4
yellow spotsJeanneAfter a few months we started seeing yellow spots come out and when we researched why there was a few reviews that reported the same problem and apparently it is because they are not well primed. Can ikea fix this please they are such nice pieces if they were made properly. 1
