CrackedPetaThis basin formed a huge crack during a period when it was not used for a week. It was less than 12 months old. 😫 Now I am stuck with having to replace it using the same inferior product as it’s the only thing that will fit in the cutout on my bench top.
Another cracked sinkBenFollowing on from the review dated 31 October 2025, I have also experienced cracking in the sink without any clear cause. Given normal household use, this is concerning and suggests the material may be more delicate than expected for a kitchen environment.
Ikea advised "After careful consideration and review of the images provided, we can confirm that the issue is not considered to be a manufacturing fault. As such, we are unable to approve your quality claim."
Based on this experience, I would not recommend this product.
Poor Functionality - Dont botherKimThe bottom of this sink is flat, so it does not have a slight sloped bottom to assist drainage like a proper sink. One of the major functions of a sink is to remove waste. The hard ceramic surface only helps breaking fragile objects. Can't wait until I remove and throw this sink out. Not recommended unless it's a useless vanity project.
Something differentSherylI love this sink, it's perfect for a smaller island bench, is different from the normal stainless steel or black sinks and is perfect for my kitchen. It's big enough to wash trays and bigger fry pans.

Residue builds easily and stains, cracks easilyFrancescaI renovated my kitchen with IKEA products and at first it looked lovely, but within weeks noticed the sink builds residue easily and it becomes unsightly fast because it's white. The flat bottom makes it laborious to clean as scraps and pieces don't move towards the sink with running water. I've noticed a crack has formed all the way through my sink. I've no idea what from but it must be a very delicate product; not ideal for a kitchen sink...I've already cut my bench to fit this sink so I feel stuck with this product that I don't like. Wouldn't recommend.
missing item or misleading product detailsRoxanneLove the sink but confused why the strainer and stopper is not included with the sink when it clearly states that it is included so a little bit disappointed to now have to purchase a separate strainer and stopper. Would love to know if this is just me.

Purchased two for new house.MargaretPurchased two for new house. Great value for money. Looks amazing in. BUT the plug does not keep water in the sink. Quite frustrating trying to wash dishes when the water keeps disappearing. Purchased additional item called a lid which I assumed must have been the issue and that's a total waste of money, it's just for looks and serves no purpose whatsoever.
