Fantastic for small depth from wallWendyI purchased the Gullaberg shoe cabinet for a space that I could not fit with Drawers due to depth, so I opted for shoe storage and this is faboulous, I am purchasing another to continue the look on the wall as I had just a 2 metre length. Both fit perfectly
Broken compartment, no replacement partsLaurenBottom compartment broke as part of general everyday use and IKEA have no replacement parts.
As I no longer had the receipt, IKEA wouldn’t help further.
The hinge mechanism is plastic and attaches to the inside of the cabinet with only a small piece that sits into a hole and is not very secure. It snapped and left the entire bottom compartment unusable.
Whilst overall I like the cabinet size and look, the poor design and lack of replacement parts meant I would need to purchase an entirely new cabinet due to one broken piece, which is both wasteful and expensive.
Great for narrow spacesLouisaFor those wondering what shoe sizes fits - the row on the handle size fits my husbands shoes - size 13/14 (EU45-46), 3 pairs of sport shoes, no boots. The row away from the handles fits about 3 sport shoes sizes 9 (EU41). So we do share half of each shoe section which works. As some of the other shoe cabinet reviews advise, bring a few pairs of shoes to make sure they fit. This shoe cabinet was a bit harder to assemble, seems common in the reviews that the steps were confusing. But love the end product.
Assembly instructions are really confusing AnnieThe parts and timber structure panels were not numbered, and there were no clear instructions indicating where each piece should go. The instructions were very poor. As a result, I had to reassemble the cabinet twice.
Nice but cant fit high top bootsKristyCompartments aren't as deep as the stall shoe cabinet, but it's a compromise to fit more shorter shoes. Might struggle with larger shoe sizes, would recommend taking a pair of shoes in to test the display models.
One draw rolls very tight compared to the other, but probably the way I installed it. Not sure how to fix.
