This kitchen island gives you extra storage space and a good work surface where you can prepare food before it's time to put it on the grill.

The work surface is made of stainless steel – a hygienic, hardwearing and durable material that is resistant to rust and easy to clean.

If you want to create an entire outdoor kitchen, you can complete with GRILLSKÄR barbeque and sink module, sold separately.

By mounting these doors with back/side panels on GRILLSKÄR kitchen island and sink unit, you transform the open shelves into closed cabinets for your outdoor kitchen.

The doors close tightly and are kept closed by a magnetic lock.

The movable shelf is made of steel and has a durable, powder-coated surface that is easy to wipe dry.

On the shelves there is plenty of space for plates, glasses, utensils and other things you need for the barbeque party.

Your utensils, serving platters and bowls are protected behind the doors and are ready to use for the next barbecue party.

If you like gardening, this kitchen island can be a perfect potting bench where you can have plant pots and gardening tools close at hand.

Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Always wipe surfaces of stainless steel lengthwise for an even, shiny finish.

Wipe clean with a soft cloth dampened in water and a mild non-abrasive washing-up detergent or soap, if necessary.

Do not use scouring-powder, steel wool, hard or sharp tools which can scratch the stainless steel surface.

TerribleReginaldThe door doesn't close properly and the left side is lower than the right side. The top has a dent on the edge and only realised it after finished assembling it. Not happy at all. Would not recommended it at all as it's not cheap. The top stainless was damaged 2
Solid construction difficult to installJarradpretty good end result, but I feel the use of tabs to join the panels is clunky and could of been better thought out, particularly the rear panel. The only other issue is the top surface is not very scratch resistant.3

The metal insertion and bend over tabs are difficult to manage and the instructions are very poor. Once you have done a couple it gets easier. Overall very happy with the end product.4

Great Pizza Oven Shelf and StorageAdrianI picked this up to house a small pizza oven, which I tuck away inside when not in use. It's great for the purpose. I do wish it had an option for locking caster wheels instead of feet, so I can reposition it. The back shelf is pretty flimsy, and the magnetic door opener is not nearly strong enough to keep the doors shut. Also, I keep the gas bottle inside for storage, but the holes in the back cover for the gas line are not big enough to allow the regulator to fit through, so I either need to fix it permanently, remove the bottle from the cabinet, or leave the door open and in my way. I did pick up some magnetic hooks for the outside, which are great for the pizza peels.4
BBQ STORAGEMeiIt took us a while to assemble it. It is a very spacy cabinet for outdoor bbq/cooking. We store chopping boards, wine glasses ... in it.4
Almost meets my needsRosieAssembling the Grillskar cabinet was fine, but unfortunately the doors don’t line up together. One has a gap at the top, and one scrapes the top. There is no way of adjusting them. Also for an outdoor cabinet, there are a number of holes and gaps, where creepy crawlies can enter. The cabinet looks good and is a great storage space.4

Great productMartyIt is very functional, however the door handles are too low for us. We have put new handles along top edge. Ikea should also consider this to improve its functionality. Very pleased with it overall.5
