This is just not possible in an environment where you need to use both the plugs in your double socket. Also, the app ecosysten is sadly quite bad, so you can't really utilise the potential of the plug without first leaving the ikea ecosystem3

Really poor experience connecting theseJakeI've got Matter over thread setup, absolutely no problem setting up all of the door/window sensors and have meross presence sensors all working these just refuse to connect 😔 I really had high hopes for these1
Fiddlier than ZigBee to pair, but reliable once connectedAnthonyWhen looking at third party system integration, it's fiddlier to use Matter over ZigBee, but in the long term, it's good to see IKEA supporting open standards. Works well with Home Assistant once connected, and provides lots of handy power stats to monitor usage of connected devices. I do wish its shape was narrower rather than square/squat, so you could plug two alongside one another more easily in a double powerpoint (this is something that depending on the layout of double GPO / powerboard/bar might not be possible).4

I can understand why no documentation is included as the unit is software dependent and would be out of date quickly, but that’s no excuse for having the QR code link to a page accurate instructions.
I ended up having to look up YouTube videos to figure out how to incorporate it.
