Good, but it has a weak spotHansIf you use it mainly as a couch and occasionally as a bed, there is a downside. After about 3 years, the seating part under you, starts to expand outwards. This results in that when used as a bed there is a gap between the 2 seating parts right in the middle of the bed. I am thinking of using the Klagshamn mattress to cover the gap. For the rest the sofabed is a good one.

The sofa was easy to asseble, sturdy and comfortable, but the cover was made really poorlyIrinaWhile it was quite easy to assemble the sofa and I found it comfortable to sit and sleep, the orange sofa cover was made really badly. There is a lot of loose fabric on the cushions and the seat is all crinkled. I also found the sofa design was not the best. It’s quite hard to open.
Comfortable sofa, easy change to double bedKateI liked the size and colour of this sofa bed. It’s a bit heavier than I expected but it makes a solid bed. There is storage under the seat for bedding and pillows so it keeps everything together.
Its a very nice couch and bedKhaledIt could be more comfy but for the price its nice, but the peeson who came from Ikea to assemble it didn't assemble the handle coreectly so its very hard to open it when i need to use the sofa bed.
Not impressed - back cushions non-existentMI'm a big fan of Ikea products however this one was a bit let down - I spent about a grand on it including shipping but the back cushions are not plush at all - I have tried all the tricks but there isn't just enough fiber in its cushions - another 500g of filling per cushion (which may only cost a few extra bucks to ikea) could've made a huge difference. Regretful purchase unfortunately.
Family says excellentJaneMy family hated my old sofa bed as they rolled into each other and woke up with bad backs. They love the Friheten. No rolling into each other or bad backs. It's also a great comfortable sofa when not being used as a bed. Easy to put together
I love the storage unit underneath for the pillows and blankets when not in use. Very happy with my purchase only downside was cost of delivery living in the country it was almost the same as the bed

Perfect sofa bedLibbyMany sofa beds are hard to pull open and hurt my back, but this one is so easy. It’s comfortable, big enough for 2 and is even super cosy as a single bed when it’s not pulled out. I love it so much.

Best sofa bed ever!LeissaWe live in a 1 bedroom home so bought this sofa bed for when we have visitors. We've had it for almost 7 years, it is in our lounge room so gets sat on all the time. It is still in excellent condition, like new. We often give our bedroom to our visitors so we can sleep on the sofa bed as it is so comfortable! It's a good size and firm which we love. Can highly recommend.
And with the back pillows off, the sofa is plenty wide if just one person is sleeping on it.
Just one little thing - the strap used to pull out the seat is only stapled on and over the years has come off a bit. It's in a tricky place to try and fix.
The foam/mattress becomes very softMunBought in 2019, the foam has become very soft, not very comfortable to sleep in.
