FÖNSTERBLAD Block-out roller blind, white, 60x155 cm
Block-out blinds blocks light from shining through and completely darkens your room.
Can be mounted inside or outside the window recess, or in the ceiling.
It is easy to pre-set the drop-length of the blind. Simply remove from brackets, pull down to desired length and re-mount in brackets. When you release the blind, it will drop to the pre-set length.
Pulls up and releases downward silently thanks to the clever design of the damper inside the roller blind.

StylishJenInitially bought 140cm blind but was too big as we have a low sloping ceiling, I didn't think I could return it so I bought the smaller 120cm one, they look good but the face plate just won't stay on, both were the same so we've left it off but I'd prefer it on. I feel we'd need some glue as it just won't clip into the sides,Im surprised no one else has commented on it unless where doing it wrong, you think it's on but it just falls off again..

Perfect for what I needKievinI needed something to block light and heat from two small kitchen windows that are just behind the stove. So it needed a simple mechanism and holder that could be screwed in to the bottom of overhead cupboards and avoid the exhaust fan. The 140 cm wide fitted perfectly. Also the instructions were actually straight forward - I muff most Ikea instructions and have to redo usually. Not this time. Great price and the colour (beige) suits. The only thing to consider is have the draw clip fully in place as to where you want it before sliding the rod into the base of the blind. I had to reposition the clip after and unfortunately the clip marked the material - not badly though, sitting 2 metres from it I can't see the marks.

Great price and nice risePeterA bargain at $17AUD for this blockout blind. I needed to cut it to fit my frame which I managed to do without too much fuss (tip: read the instructions carefully ;) ). The most pleasant surprise was how controlled the rise is. When you yank it to raise it, rather than elastically propelling upwards like most pull-blinds, it rises uniform motion as if it were electrically-powered. Very satisfying.

Fonsterblad Blockout Roller BlindsPhillipWe bought these online, as we live in regional NSW and trips to Sydney are infrequent.
Delivery was very quick, and very good value.
Our first surprise - the "fabric" blinds are not a woven or felted fabric - think "sheet of smooth plastic". However, the discreet circles design is very nice and the colour suited our needs.
We bought these blinds both as an economy measure (they are stunning value), and because they can be cut to length. In the end though, we hung each blind on a slight angle overlapping the next blind, avoiding the chore of cutting them. We doubted our ability to cut evenly, especially the plastic blind panel.
We are very happy. One blind of six bought has a slightly rough/erratic manner as it re-rolls up, but it is still working so far (about 3-4 months). The other 5 blinds work like a dream - these blinds retract themselves with a slow-close motion which is very cool and almost silent.
A couple of the blinds have an edge of the plastic "fabric" which curls in a little when they are down, no idea why. Doesn't affect their use, nor the light-blocking effect we wanted.
