Comfortable but Shocking!MartynThis was my second purchase - replacing a Flintsn that was 8 years old (gas lift failed). The fabric used in the new 2025 Flintan chair must be different that the original as the new delivers noticeable electrostatic shocks almost daily - this was NOT a 'feature' of the original chair. My short term fix is to damp the new seat covering down every day or 2 - but the fix does not last long. Long term I plan on having a natural fibre seat cover made for it. Would have been helpful to have known of the issue before I purchased the new chair as I may have passed on it.

Basic but goodDuaneThis simple office chair is very basic. Simple design, simple functions. All done well. It can feel like you're sliding off the chair though after a while and as there is no tilt adjustment, it becomes a problem with any regular movement.

Update to below review ("Very disappointing")MorganaOkay, so I left a very negative review (below), but to my complete embarrassment, it wasn't the chair causing my leg pain - it was a pinched nerve in my back. Oops!!! It really felt like it was the chair, but it turns out I was wrong. So, updated review: my previous Flintan chair lasted very well for 8 years, the foam did sink eventually but I used it every day, the new one has slight design changes (different mesh in the back) but is actually fine. It just doesn't quite suit me anymore. Apologies for jumping the gun on the last review - the chair is actually fine!
Very disappointingMorganaMy previous flintan chair I bought 8 years ago, and have been super happy with it - very comfy and lasted well. Finally, the foam on the seat sank too much so I decided to go ahead and order a replacement. Well, they've changed it entirely. The mesh seatback is different, not such a problem, but the foam seat is totally different. How do I know this? Because it took all of a week to sink as much as the previous one took 8 years to do! It's so uncomfortable it's giving me major leg pain, as the foam also sank unevenly, and I can't return it as I live too far away from a store and can't drive there - I could have it delivered to me for a reasonable price, but now I'm stuck with it. It's going to end up going to landfill as what else can I do with it? EXTREMELY disappointing. If they were going to change the design, they should have made it very clear on the listing - my old one was great, this one I would never have bought if I'd known.

Pretty chair though not amazingSarahAfter the unfortunate need to sit for up to 12 hours due to some work crises; this gorgeous chair did sadly start to feel uncomfortable in my lower back :( I’d but again due to the light colour tones, though! I really didn’t want a black chair.
Oh and the kids hate it, another win! The wheels auto stop meaning it’s less fun to play with.

Worst chair I’ve ever bought AmeliaI’ve had this chair for 2 days, my legs are in pain. It’s hard, flat and uncomfortable, I tried a chair cushion but no improvement. I expected better very disappointing.
