Each post includes two fittings which enable interiors to be mounted also on the extendable part, allowing you to utilise the entire ceiling height.

Two persons are needed for the assembly of this furniture.

Different ceiling materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the ceilings in your home, sold separately.

Expensive and ugly, but versatile and cool if you're creative about itDeI've used the elvarli posts and brackets to create floor to ceiling shelves of my own design. As a renter, that's great, as no destructive fixing to the walls or ceiling is technically required. My shelves are beautiful and get an extraordinary number of compliments, plus make a lot of a small space by being extremely visually minimal. However, I'm still really not convinced that they're worth the money - I would not be buying these if there were any other product like this. (Though I might make a cat tree next.) FYI: - You absolutely NEED two people, a ladder, and a spirit level (an app will work) to assemble these, otherwise don't try it. - I would not recommend buying IKEA's shelves that come with this system. There are screw holes on the brackets and shelves, but they don't line up with each other. You could probably cut some timber pieces and have a more economically priced shelf that can be properly secured. - It is possible to install with sloped ceilings by inverting it.4
