DYVLINGE swivel easy chair was launched in our 1967 catalogue with the name MILA. Then, just like now, with a sitting position that is naturally relaxing for the entire body.
In the Nytillverkad collection, the easy chair's cross base has 5 legs instead of 4 to minimise the risk of tipping.

This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

Fantastic PaulIt was exactly what i was looking for. So so comfortable with a large padded cushion. I see some people reviewing it saying its for kids but keep in mind this is a retro 70s style chair and in the 70s most of us were sitting in bean bags or low rider chairs like this. It's just perfect for listening to old vinyl records. Highly recommend

Super soft and comfy TharuThis occasional chair is so worth the money, it was the easiest thing to assemble, it’s is super comfy and also big enough where you can cross your legs and sit too. Everyone always comments have unique it is and how comfortable it is! We have used this chair everyday since we got it and cannot recommend this enough!
So comfy and funDanniThis chair is so comfy, solid and fun, it’s a great lil addition to my retro inspired lounge. It’s quite low and compact, which is exactly what I wanted. The swivel is fun and the orange is even more fun. I LOVE this chair. PS assembly is a breeze, only takes about 4 minutes.

So tiny and cheap looking. AndreaI was looking forward to getting my chair delivered today. So disappointed! I’m a small person and even for me the chair is too small and uncomfortable to sit on. The backrest is too short, it may be comfortable for children. The chair sits low on the ground and the orange corduroy looks cheap, nothing like in the picture. The construction assembles a camping chair with some fancy cushions on top. It’s definitely not worth $300.

Comfortable and compact BradPerfect for a small apartment and very comfortable. I find myself gently rocking side to side while reading. Very easy to relax into it. I love this chair. It’s a shame Ikea does not make a matching sofa.

Falsely advertisedBronteThe measurements for this chair are extremely inaccurate. The width is marked as 63cm but in reality it is only 58cm wide. The depth which is labeled as 75cm is actually only 64cm. I chose this chair based on these details however what I got is far from what was described and the chair looks comically small next to my other, regular sized pieces of furniture. I am extremely disappointed with this product as I had been waiting several months for it to come back in stock.

Cute looking, but poor quality Scott2 of the 4 buttons holding down the seat upholstery have come loose within 2 days of bringing it home. For a small chair on the more expensive end of Ikea’s range this is shockingly bad quality.

Love this purchaseHansongA bit lower than I’ve expected, but still I love it. I bought the green colour one and it gives the colour in my room. It is quite comfy as well. I’ve placed it beside my bed and when I sit I do place my legs to the bed and get comfortable..

When Gillis Lundgren was hired in 1953, he became the fourth(!) employee ever at IKEA. At first, he illustrated catalogue covers and photographed products while Ingvar Kamprad wrote texts, but soon he also started designing furniture. His MILA swivel armchair was presented as the "anti-stress armchair" in the 1967 catalogue. A big success that has now been given new life with the name DYVLINGE in the Nytillverkad collection.
