Love the design of this clock though and the clock itself has worked for a number of years now. The batteries were easy to install too.
Cute, reasonably functional, but the sticker...YasminI like the aesthetic, finish, sound and use of this alarm. Not the most useful as an alarm clock but it's mostly for the look. But the sticker on the underside is ridiculous. The residue does not come off no matter what you do. I even tried blasting it with all the usual suspects of chemicals and no luck. For a decorative item, having some gross stickiness visible is not ideal.

Great little old fashioned looking clockDaleI've had IKEA clocks before, so I know how to set the alarm. I love that there's no tick. I love the clock face. It's light weight and easy to use. Previous clock lasted 14 years, hoping for the same time frame from this one.
Not fit for purpose. Frustrating shopping experience. LisaThe unit I purchased did not work after trying two sets of brand new batteries.
I checked reviews in an attempt to troubleshoot, and I note this is a relatively commonly reported issue.
While reading reviews it was also brought to my attention that if you are fortunate enough to pick a clock from the shelf that actually works, you are only able to set the alarm to activate on the hour, not on half or quarter hours (however I cannot verify this as the one I purchased didn't work at all).
I believe this product is not fit for purpose. The design/mechanics need reviewing if this many units simply do not work. Information on its capabilities and limitations as an alarm should also be more accessible to consumers before purchasing.
I went to Ikea specifically for this item and am left feeling inconvenienced and frustrated.

Brilliant clockTamaraI purchased this clock for my 88 year old mother. Mailed it interstate. When asked how she liked it she said “Brilliant”. Doesn’t tick loudly, easy to see and keeps perfect time.
