The cold-start function prevents hot water waste and saves energy. When you lift the lever straight up, only cold water is released. The function restricts opening the lever fully to the right.
Hot water is released by turning the lever to the left. It is only then that hot water is consumed.
This is a durable mixer tap that you can use for many years, since the hard, ceramic discs withstand the friction that always occurs when you change the temperature of the water.

Quality is going down hill!BoxiangThe colour of the mixer is much darker compared to the exact same model I purchased a few years ago. Guess the plating is not as good. You need to order the item before pickup on the second day, which is more inconvenient than picking it up from the store floor.
Solid and good tapOmarThe tap itself is very well made, and the installation process was pretty good. The only negative thing that I have with it which I didn’t know when I was buying it was that the handle is not centered. The cold water gets turned on in the middle and the left water gets turned on all the way to the left side. Tried removing the handle to see if I can adjust the angle but felt like I was going to break it
