Great valueLukeQuality product Good value for the money5
Ironing board is wobblyAnonymous reviewerGreat size, iron rest is wonderful. Board is wobbly and the cover is not well padded. As the cover is easily removed for laundering I added the felt pd from my previous board to this board and was able to put the cover back onto the board.3
Awesome MariaI love this iron stand. 5
pretty goodNatalinaIt works as intended. Its not wobbly, like me previous one. But I wish the height adjuster was on the other side of the board. 4
Bad DesignPaulI purchased one of these ironing boards just over 4 years ago and had throw it away this week. It has a basic design flaw that means it won’t last long. Most ironing boards use a few deep slots to secure the board at 3 or 4 fixed heights. This is very stable, secure and very reliable. The IKEA ironing board uses serrations on the edge of a couple of metal bars to latch the board in place. This gives a very large number of height settings, but once the serrations start to wear, the board is no longer able to latch in place and collapses under the pressure of ironing. I would not recommend purchasing this ironing board. It will fail within a few years. 1
Ironing boardShwetaHigh and stable. But the cushioning could be better. Recommend to put a folded bed sheet on and then iron clothes.5

A slightly longer hinge pin of this board will be goodMichaelThis is my second Danka ironing board. The first one failed as its top hinge pin came loose when folding up and I was almost hit by the board on the face. I hope to see some improvements in this second one. I found some minor improvements but disappointingly not about the top hinge pin. That pin just needs to be a little bit longer.3

Material

What is cotton?

Cotton is one of the world's most appreciated and used natural fibres. Textiles in cotton are soft, hardwearing and can be washed at high temperatures. They are also good at breathing and absorbing moisture – making them pleasant to wear close to the body. Today at IKEA we use more and more recycled cotton and strive to make sure that all the new cotton we use has been grown and produced with less and less amounts of pesticides, fertilisers and water.
