EPOK rug is described in the 1958 catalogue as "evoking a desire in all modern decorators." We believe it is still true today and welcome it under the name BULLERREMSA in the Nytillverkad collection.

Part of the Nytillverkad collection where several IKEA classics have been given a new look.

When launched in the 1958 catalogue, this shaggy rug was called EPOK. Just as modern now as then, and well deserving of a place among the other IKEA icons in the Nytillverkad collection.

  • You will need 1 STOPP FILT rug underlay with anti-slip (165x235 cm) for this rug. Trim if necessary.

  • Material

    Care

    Airing and vacuuming will help to eliminate the smell that the rug can have when it is new.

    Do not wash.

    Do not bleach.

    Do not tumble dry.

    Do not iron.

    Do not dryclean.

    Vacuum, shake and rotate the rug regularly.

    Dry spots; remove immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot.

    Wet spots; do not rub. Absorb with paper towels, damp with cloth and mild detergent.

    Professional carpet cleaning when needed.

    Always use the standard floorhead, never the rotating brush, when vaccum cleaning the rug.

  • Use STOPP FILT rug underlay with anti-slip for increased safety and comfort; to be placed under the entire rug.This product has been tested for domestic use.

A seriously underrated rugMarcusI wanted this rug for ages because I love the style and history behind it. When it came on sale I decided to get it and I love it even more now that it’s been in my living room for a while. It’s actually really well made for the price and it looks epically awesome under my Lovbacken coffee table (my favourite ikea piece of all time) ;)5
