Nice but tricky to installSarahI read all the existing reviews first and even chatted with the IKEA chat bubble to clarify that it could in fact be wall mounted as a previous review said it couldn’t be in Australia ?? I see now what they meant.
Assembly of the unit itself is easy. The doors are a nightmare to get straight the hinges are so difficult. But aesthetically worth the persistence to assemble.
The issue lies in that it has 4 fixed brackets at the back for wall mounting. These do not or are very unlikely to line up with your respective studs. My dad is a long experienced builder and he agreed no layman is going to have an easy time. In the end my dad used additional brackets which he uses for work (installing garage doors) and screwed these to the underside of the top of the unit allowing him to line them up with our studs. Without this modification, only 2 of the 4 brackets lined up with our studs - the two left ones but the two right ones were about 30mm out.
Consider this when making the purchase.
Looks great, worst thing to assemble. ZhilinThe hinges were the hardest thing I have ever assembled. The doors still don’t align and I’ll have to get someone to fix it for me.

Besta Floating TV BenchSimonThis products design does not suit the majority of Australian house construction. The unit is impossible to fit safely to a stud wall without modification to the design of the unit, because there is insufficient adjustment in the wall anchor points to allow alignment with studs.
The product was disappointing.
We bought a besta tv unit to be wall mounted, but the unit doesn't have the holes to attach it to the wall mounting rails. MelThe image on the site shows a wall mounted tv unit, but you can't use the wall mounting rails with the unit because it doesn't have the holes for the supports.
