Great compact shelving solutionSimonI've got two of these. I purchased two shelves for both and mounted to the wall. Depending on the way you set the shelves up and the way you put them in place i.e. choosing to use the metal studs the wrong way round - lifts the shelves to desirable levels. On one unit I got three rows of CDs, the second a row of standard DVD's, a row of Blurays and another for display. I'm tempted to get a couple more for book collections.
They are quit sturdy - I mount mine with large bolts, so they are stuck in place.
What is great is that they don't stick out that much from the wall.
