I really liked this fabric a lot and as our height is 2.4m they were easy to hem with iron on tape. To get the S-fold look, put the hooks in the top row of spacers. You also need to count the number of sliders in the track and divide your curtains by that number to work out the spacing. I bought 3 pairs at $80 each. $240 for 8.7 meters of curtains for our 4.1m door.
- Curtain tracks and hooks from Freedom: They are tension rods on a string so they are evenly spaced.
- wash curtains before you hang them to get rid of the factory smell. Despite all the advice to hang them wet on the hooks, don't do it. The weight of the wet curtains means they sag and end up different lengths.
- hemming: I hung the curtains and then pinned them while they were hanging on the track. I ironed where I pinned then once I was happy with it, I used the tape.
- joining multiple curtains - I used metal hooks between each curtain to join them and attach to one slider.

Beige curtainsKerenI recently purchased these curtains online. I live around two hours south of the closest ikea store. The product itself looks good quality however the colour is not beige, I would say it’s light brown. I have opened the packaging so I’m now at a loss what to do with the curtains. I was hoping for more of a linen/beige colour that would go with my carpet but this colour is throwing off brown.1

Really disappointed 😞 BekWe had originally done our whole house with these curtains bar our theatre room. We changed our minds a few months later and got these and they are nowhere near the same quality. They are thin and feel cheap and nasty. Super disappointing and wouldn't recommend them especially if you think you're getting the same quality as the older design!1

I also ironed the whole curtain to remove the creases and installed the Hilja semi sheets behind and we are really happy with the look. They aren’t full block out (they don’t claim to be) but the room darkening effect is effective.5
