Create an epic TV-free entertainment room

When you think of living room essentials, chances are a TV is pretty high on the list. We looked to rock the boat and create a living room that’s designed for everyday entertainment and relaxation while being totally TV free. Come and see!

Inspiration starts here

Meet Rob and Marie. They live in Calamvale, Queensland, with their three kids. From music, to board games, books and graphic novels, close knit family love entertaining and enjoying each other’s company. We helped turn their living room into a place to relax and socialise without switching on a television.

Whether it’s board games or blankets, having a surplus of stuff doesn’t have to mean a cluttered room. A mixture of open and closed storage can help you show off your favourite things while keeping the rest hidden away. This VIMLE sofa even has a huge closed storage section in one of its compartments.

This EKET storage system makes short work out of organising a library of books and comes in a variety of combinations for a whole range of spaces. For fans of vinyl they’re also the perfect size for storing records safely.

If you’re a fan of entertaining or use your living room for different activities at the same time, it’s smart to think about flexible furniture. Two easily movable tables can cover everything from a relaxed lunch to multiple cups of tea.

“The space is getting used for the way it should have been used all along. It’s great.”
