Why should I choose Parcel Delivery?
Parcel Delivery is ideal for smaller orders, such as decoration items, textiles, picture frames, and other home décor accessories, for those who are comfortable with an estimated delivery window rather than a guaranteed day/time slot.
Cost considerations: Parcel deliveries start from a low fixed fee of $9.99. The exact cost will be shown at checkout depending on your address. If you are an IKEA Family or IKEA Business Network member, you can get parcel delivery for $5.99 when spending over $85.
Timing and scheduling factors: Delivery dates provided are estimates, typically between 3–10 business days from dispatch.
Item size and type restrictions: This method is best for lighter, smaller items (generally orders up to around 16kg).
Location/distance factors: Suitable for most residential addresses where a central delivery warehouse can dispatch your order.
Customer effort required: Medium - Your items are delivered directly to your delivery address, and tracking is available online. However, if you’re not present and no safe place is available, you may need to arrange to receive your goods on a different date with our transport provider.
Use cases: Ideal if you’re ordering smaller accessories or textiles and are happy with an estimated delivery window rather than a guaranteed day/time slot.
