Love it.ElisaI have always wanted one of these. Its wonderful. I replaced a small dining suite with this kitchen island and added 2 stools. As it can do so much,storage,large preparation area and a place to have meals.
It holds so much. I have alot of cutting boards,cast iron cookware ,storage containers etc. It holds a lot.
I added curtains as when I bake I can make a mess.
I like the huge top for when I'm preparing food and baking alot. As my kitchen is small with limited counter space.
My friend took the top to work and sealed it for me and I put plastic on it to protect it.
I'm also going to add rods to hang pots and tea towels.
It's very solid and heavy. I'm thinking of putting wheels on it as it weighs alot and it would easier to move.
I'm telling my friend to get one. Its a good buy.

Perfect!SarahI just moved into a new apartment and the kitchen had very limited bench space. This fit in the space perfectly and has more than doubled my usable bench space. It goes where the dining table should have gone, so the side with space for bar stools is perfect.
My friends kindly assembled it, and they didn't have too much trouble. It looks lovely and is really sturdy. The quality is great. Absolutely no complaints here.

Awesome itemAnonymous reviewer2 weeks before moving into a small 1 bedroom place, i realised that once the microwave was on the bench i was left with about 50 x 50 cm bench space free. I spent a wèek searching couldnt find what i liked then found this. Best purchase i have made. Just the extra bench space and love the 2 shelves you can put so much on. Really like the fact being in a small place i can put a chair on the other side to sit and eat. Not to hard to put together once i worked out which side of the legs the shelves went on. I wish their instructions were a bit clearer.

Shelf is loose MichaelI have found the shelves to be loose and move around. Apart from that it’s ok but for the price it is, I’d expect it to be better. Customer service explained to me that’s how it’s been designed so pretty poor design. I expected better for the price.

A beautiful kitchen centrepieceDanielWith the caveat that I don't at all recommend trying to assemble it alone - took me the best part of four hours and a lot of swearing! - my TORNVIKEN is everything I hoped it would be and more. Its sturdy, clean lines and ample shelving make it both the visual and functional anchor of my kitchen - and just rubbing my hands over the gorgeously smooth work surface makes me happy.
