A stitch in time made much easier.ClareThe Iron-on tape works well to keep an accurate hem line in place. I always reinforce with hand sewing or machine on heavier curtains like velvet curtains. The tape does need careful handling as it is delicate and can break while unrolling onto the fabric it's easiest to lay it out on the hem fold on an ironing board but once ironed on under a damp cloth it works well. On lighter fabrics I find its a quick and reliable way to add a hem without sewing. I haven't washed with the tape n as yet but it does make turning up hems on fabric much faster.

Excellent productAnonymous reviewerI wish I used this earlier on my IKEA curtains. I have had long trailing curtains for years and this has completely changed the professional look in every room.
It does work on heavy curtains - I used on heavy IKEA blackouts. Just make sure you use iron on high steam mode and I used a wet tea-towel to encourage steam and protect the curtain from the high heat (first press realised the curtain didn't like high heat and marked). Allow to dry before testing the seams.
