Not good for my application MélanI went with this product over a traditional rod because I was at ikea on a bike and this was easier to carry home. So I like it for portability. Setup was okay, did it myself with a ladder, drill, and stud finder. Unfortunately once it was up, it didn’t hold very well. It sagged and gave a lot of friction, and kinda just didn’t look very nice in my opinion. The turnbuckle didn’t take up enough slack.
I was using these with blackout curtains, with clips, and across two windows with a support in the middle. So probably a somewhat demanding application. With sheer drapes, not covering a whole wall, it’s likely it would look more balanced and hang just fine.
Now I know! and you do too. 3
Good productCharlesFirst one broke, second one works fine.3
Great productVeraHaven’t put it up yet, though…5
Great!EdithEasy to install5
Great conceptAnonymous reviewerThis is a great concept, but every time I have used it I end up with mangled wire. I have fairly good quality wire cutters, but they just don't cut it.(Excuse the pun) I have used these before and I have gotten them up, but the installation is always frustrating.4
Cheap materials. Nothing assembles well.JudithCheap materials. Nothing assembles well. Not worth it.1
Cable drapery hangerAnonymous reviewerEasy to install and very strong. Visually subtle, leaving curtains to appear suspended5
Not as easy to install as expectedAnonymous reviewerNot as easy to install as expected. And with the curtain, the wire curves under the weight.2
Love this productElsaLove this product5
Wire Curtain HangerEllyOverall ok. Wire hangs loose when weight of the curtain hangs on it (so curtain sags). Should be a way to ratchet it tighter. Easy to use and put up.3
great product. wire holding upChrisgreat product.
wire holding up curtains could be a little stronger5
Very easy to install, worksDebraVery easy to install, works well for the price as we are in rental unit.
Would use again.4
Curtain railAnonymous reviewerGreat easy, affordable, easy to assemble, curtains slide easy.5
fair productJohnworks well indoor and outdoor. However the screws that hold the wire in place might get weak or break when turned a lot.3
Loved itLyndaPerfect for the sunroom. Worried that there would be sagging or difficulty in drawing the curtains back but no issues. We used the supports just in case and are happy with the results.5
Needs better instructionsMeaghanThe instructions make no sense you really have to just figure it out. It looks and works good. Wire was really hard to cut and didn’t realize to keep the plastic piece in the end for it to go into the wall piece. It’s not taut enough for me but my husband refuses to try cutting the wire again.3
One bolt stripped or poor manufacturing.AnonymousOne of the bolt connections to the wall brackets are stripped. Cannot screw into the wall mount. I will get a second package and return the broken one to see if this is a common problem. Pain to have to drive back to the store though.2
sturdy, curtain rod solution for high traffic areaDonicaPurchased this for another area. Have one that I have used for over 11 years and it is still working like new in a high traffic area. I have not found anything comparable to this product anywhere that is a durable and easy to install.5
Great for thinking out of the boxSherriThese are great to allow you to hang curtains in unusual places. I sectioned off a room with them, but you could even use them to put sheers around a bed. You can shape it any way you want. Just be sure to use the support anchors every 4 feet. Installation was fairly easy, but I had to supply my own screws. I would say it's a 2-person job, but I managed on my own.5
Nice optionAnonymous reviewerThese have worked nicely. We have installed on 6.5 feet windows with no center support, and they have not sagged. Installation went smoothly.4
