How to get it

A clean and simple look that fits just about anywhere. You can combine it with other desks or drawer units in the MICKE series to extend your work space. The clever design at the back hides messy cables.

Product details

It’s easy to keep cords and cables out of sight but close at hand with the cable outlet at the back.

You can mount the legs to the right or left, according to your space or preference.

Drawer stops prevent the drawers from being pulled out too far.

Can be placed anywhere in the room because the back is finished.

You can extend your work surface by combining desks and drawer units. All desks and drawer units in the MICKE series are the same height.

    Care

Reason for returnDonaldI was pleased with the product, except the drawer was difficult to close. Plus, it was too difficult ultimately to assembly. Other than that, it was durable and aesthicaĺly pleasing.4
Damaged(DarynaI recently purchased this table from IKEA. Overall, I’m satisfied with the product, but unfortunately, one of the corners was slightly damaged — it appears to be either a manufacturing defect or damage that occurred during transport. It’s disappointing, as I expected flawless quality. I’d like to ask if it’s possible to receive compensation or a replacement part. I have photos of the defect and can provide more details if needed. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your response! 3

Perfect SizeJodiI now own two, one two drawer and this one drawer. Remodel of the work space needed a smaller unit and this was the perfect size and easy to build.5
Very disappointed AndileAs I was installing the drawer the first two screws are slightly bigger than the hole therefore there was damage from the twisting. The front part of the drawer has two bubbles/bumps from the inside out due to having to hammer in the screws which are also slightly too big for the holes. I instantly stopped installing it and took it apart, I will be returning it tomorrow morning. 1

Literally does not serve it’s one and only purpose JadeWhy would a drawer not need screws to hold it all together. Yes there’s some in the back. But in the front, you have those two holes that are supposed to hold together by a price of wood and a metal tube like thing. It does not hold together at a l l. Everytime I try to open the drawer, the whole front of it comes off and/or the bottom gets of the little hedge that it’s supposed to just. Sit on. I’m going to try to reinforce it because other wise it looks good and it wasn’t that expensive so I’ll try saving it. 2

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.

"My idea with the MICKE series was to simplify everything we do with our computers and mobile phones in today's high-tech world. Like keeping in touch with friends, downloading films and music, working or printing out tickets. The goal was to create a real dream product with maximum functions in a minimum space. One smart thing is the built-in cable management, so you can hide away all the cables. Another is that all the parts have the same depth and height so everyone can create their own favorite combination."
