Care
Wipe clean using a damp cloth and a mild cleaner.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

It’s easy to keep cords and cables out of sight but close at hand with the cable outlet at the back.
You can mount the legs to the right or left, according to your space or preference.
Drawer stops prevent the drawers from being pulled out too far.
Can be placed anywhere in the room because the back is finished.

Care

Nice But..JanineIt's sturdy. It's a perfect size. The instructions are only visual, no written direction. However, despite following these, I STILL can't get the drawer to slide in. The wheels on the drawer guide will not slide over the ones on the desk.
Not impressed Anonymous reviewerI gave it two stars maybe I should give it one but for the size it’s ok. I bought it to put my laptop on and to use it when I need to fill documents out. The drawer out of everything was the most complicated. I bought it as the reviews were solid and the amount of people who bought it made me thing it would be good. The drawer was a fight to get into the desk.
Is it good for a child basic needs small desk.
I don’t think it’s solid enough to hold my monitor. I was considering getting the monitor stand to put in but it won’t leave space and I find it flimsy to the fact that when you open the drawer the whole desk shakes and moves. Would I buy it again no.
I buy a lot from ikea but this is my first disappointment. I don’t live close enough to return it and trying to sell it I’d be lucky to get $50!! So I’m stuck with it.
If you have an option definitely check it out in store so you can see what you’re buying.

Can't be used as a DeskMaiaThe drawer does not fit. You can't force it or loosen a few screws to make it fit. It's actually the wrong dimensions for the space where it's supposed to fit. Which makes this a tiny table with no storage space instead of a desk. Would have returned it except my brother knows carpentry and made a custom drawer that actually fit.
Perfect FitNatashaThe desk was a perfect fit for my teenage sons room. I bought it in the as is section at a discounted price which made it even better. If your looking for sturdy this is not the product for you, but if it's just for a small space and good price this is it.
Dark brown surfaces has various white scratch marks from manufacturer packing.JamieNew out of the box, some of the pieces have some white scratch marks on its dark brown surfaces. Looks like scratched when pieces packed into box. Scratch marks stand out when desk is in daylight. Its appearance was big part of my purchase consideration. So, bought at regular price now feels high priced. Special trip back to Ikea for exchange would be quite hassel and inconvenience. Not sure worth the trouble.

Awareness!MaryamWhile assembling the drawer (page 7, step 6), I hammered in the larger screws (100086) instead of the correct ones. I later realized they didn’t fit properly, which made them very difficult to remove. Despite this assembly mistake, I’m very happy with the product overall it’s sturdy, stylish, and fits perfectly in my space.
DisappointedLaurenThere was a scratch and some of the finish is peeling off. The drawer is so hard to put in.
Looks easy to assemble but beware!SuzanneI've put together many Ikea products, but this is the most difficult so far. The biggest problem: you get to the last step and the drawer won't align so it can be closed. I can't figure out why. Very, very disappointed with this desk.
Reason for returnDonaldI was pleased with the product, except the drawer was difficult to close. Plus, it was too difficult ultimately to assembly. Other than that, it was durable and aesthicaĺly pleasing.
Damaged(DarynaI recently purchased this table from IKEA. Overall, I’m satisfied with the product, but unfortunately, one of the corners was slightly damaged — it appears to be either a manufacturing defect or damage that occurred during transport.
It’s disappointing, as I expected flawless quality. I’d like to ask if it’s possible to receive compensation or a replacement part. I have photos of the defect and can provide more details if needed.
