CheapLesterCheap wood and the screws are trash, used my own screws and glued the crate for added stability. Just barely cheaper than taking the time to cut my own lumber for a crate, but not by much.

Assembly is So FrustratingYejinAssembly was so frustrating. I couldn’t assemble this box, and no one in my household could either. The holes didn’t line up, so the parts wouldn’t fit together properly. This product completely ruined my day. I ended up returning it.
Cheap and frustratingCatherineYou would think it would be so easy to score a simple wooden box with holes in the right place. Unfortunately that is too difficult. Only purchase if you think fighting with cheap screws is a fun way to spend your time, and you enjoy ending up with a crooked box that is barely usable.

Nightmare to assembleAlexThis thing is an absolute nightmare to assemble, and I've assembled a lot of Ikea items with no problems. I bought four of these and I've assembled one in about 45 minutes. Nothing seems to line up properly and it's impossible to do with a manual screwdriver, you definitely need an electric one. More than half of the pre-done drill holes are non-existent. One of the boxes I received also had a split piece of wood so now I have to return it. If you can actually get it assembled, it doesn't look bad and functions as it should. Honestly, Ikea should be ashamed at the lack of quality control with this item.

Couldn’t assembleElizabethI had to return this because there was a staple blocking the hole for one of the screws you need to use to assemble it. But I had to wait so long to turn it I just left it there and never got my refund. Very frustrating.

Terrible manufacturing, nothing fitsHeliatook me 2 HOURS to assemble 2 of these?? 4 out of 8 big screws are 0.5 inch longer than the drill hole, so both my boxes are just lopsided. a few of the tiny screws didn't even manage to puncture the wood so i had to leave them out. actually the most infuriating thing to build by far.
Lil out of sqaure but funcational Anonymous reviewerI bought it for kids toy organization, some planks dont match up and its a lil out of square as a carpenter messes with ocd but its for a child and they wont care.
Frustrating to assembleTiffanyEchoing previous reviews. Pre drilled holes did not line up with wood pieces. Requires drilling own holes since screws can't just be screwed in. Way too much effort and tools required for something so straightforward. I've built Ikea shelves, cabinets, and tables in less time and with less effort. Would prefer to purchase pre-assembled (and I like building Ikea furniture so that's saying something).

Terrible ProductJonathanThe cuteness of this product is only outweighed by its poor manufacturing. As with other reviews, one screw hole was off centre in both of the two I bought, and the screws stripped. I second that these are IKEA’s worst product.
