Soft toy drawing competition, November 3-19, 2017

Let’s Play For Change - play is a basic need
Play is fundamental to children’s wellbeing. Play is so important that the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child recognises it as one of children’s fundamental human rights. Sadly, many children around the world lack safe spaces to play. That’s why IKEA Foundation is teaming up with six leading children’s rights organisations and together with IKEA to put play at the heart of the new good cause campaign - Let’s Play for Change.

Soft toy drawing competition 2017 – kids designing for kids
We are inviting all creative kids aged 0–12 to draw the soft toy of their dreams. The lucky winners will have their favourite imaginary creatures turned into real cuddly soft toys and sold in IKEA stores all over the world. The soft toy drawing competition will be held between 3 November - 19 November. Come and join in on the fun!

IKEA Adelaide has partnered with Vinnies Women's Crisis Centre.

The Vinnies Women's Crisis Centre is a new service of St Vincent de Paul Society SA, supporting women in crisis with short term emergency accommodation. During November, IKEA Adelaide will be collecting donations in the Restaurant and Checkouts to go towards the furnishing of the centre.

In addition to money raised, IKEA will also donate $1,000 in the form of an IKEA gift card.
