The design of the high backrest gives your body, neck and head a sturdy and comfortable support.

You sit comfortably since the chair is adjustable in height.

This desk chair has adjustable tilt tension that allows you to adjust the resistance to suit your movements and weight.

You easily adjust the height of the chair and the tilt of the back with one hand.

On the back of the backrest there is a pocket where you can put things you want close at hand when playing.

The leather-like upholstery is durable and easy to wipe clean.

The safety casters have a pressure-sensitive brake mechanism that keeps the chair in place when you stand up, and releases automatically when you sit down.

Chair padding meltsJosephThe faux leather padding on the chair melts/deforms over time. I have had mine for almost a year and it has a drooping smudge about 8 inches diameter where my upper back contacts the chair and it's all melted-looking faux leather. 1
Ikea should recall this chairDianaAbsolutely the worlds worst chair. It should honestly be recalled. Im a gamer and gaming chairs bring a reputation of being above average comfortable compared to an office chair but this is horrible. No cushion gives backache and the wheels have no bearings we are talking about a chair in the 200$ like come on. I love ikea but this us a NO!!!!! Should ve recalled. 1
A chair just for looks!LisaThis chair gives me the worst back and bottom pain. Has no cushion and the wheels don't roll, unless you're sitting in it. The style and grey color deserve one star but otherwise, this is the worst chair I ever had. Can't return it to IKEA without a receipt and/or the box which I no longer have. 1
S'okayMichaelI will try to be breif. It is OKAY. Reasonably comfortable, though I have added a seet cushion because of my aging biology. It is inexpensive, so I am not expecting the same level of comfort as a $500 chair. I wanted to use this witout the arms. The safety and functionality of the chair are severely degraded without the arms. That is on me. Nowhere on box did it say it worked with or without the arms. Boo on me. The other issue that I have with the chair is the locking wheels. Great safety idea and works as designed. BUT, when I get up out of the chair, I want to push it in under the desk. I can do it, but because the wheels lock, it skates instead of rolls. And sometimes, I want to move it to another room. More skating. Great saftey idea and comcept. I am just not a fan of some of the consequences. At the end of the day, I consider it a good value for the cost. Not perfect. Not great. But pretty good. (Not taking it back & I quit looking at other chairs! So that says something.)4
Do Not BuyCalebThis chair broke within 3 months of normal use. Specifically, the bracket that holds the back on bent to the point where it was unusable very quickly once the metal started to weaken. The assembly was frustrating due to the pieces not lining up well. The wheels are incredibly frustrating. The mechanism they put in to avoid "accidental rolling" is very difficult to deal with in a normal office environment. Again,do not buy this chair. Get literally any other office style chair and you'll be much better off.1

I was sitting on this chair for 6 months, for long periods of time as a student, and it can get really uncomfortable. You can most definitely find office/desk chairs cheaper and more comfortable. Besides comfortability, it was extremely easy to setup and didn't take long at all2

At IKEA we have experience in life at home, but we’re beginners in the gaming world. That’s why we decided to team up with recognized experts from Republic of Gamers (ROG), to better understand what everyday life is like for devoted PC gamers. It resulted in desks, chairs, storage, and accessories that can help more players to more victories.

Ask any gamer and they’ll tell you gaming is more than a fun past-time. It’s a way to wind down and connect with others – for some, even a livelihood. When Sofia Wiktorsson, one of our product developers, started working with our new range for passionate players, she stepped into a completely new universe – the gaming world.

We level up to help more gamers

“We cooperated with ROG the whole time and met both professional and high-performance gamers,” tells Sofia. When she and the team got to pick the brains of the players and watch them in action, it became clearer where IKEA can make a difference. “We saw a need for comfortable and ergonomic chairs and aids for long gaming sessions, stable furniture and accessories that improve the precision, and smart storage for the hardware. But, we also developed solutions that make it easier to eat and drink without spilling while playing.”

Democratic gaming

There are several billion gamers in the world, but it’s not a uniform group of people – the diversity is great, with different cultures, ages, educational levels, and incomes. “We want to make it possible to adapt the gaming station to your taste and your needs, no matter where you come from, if you live on your own, or together with someone else,” explains Sofia. “The products should fit with all other things people have in their homes.
