The blind is cordless for increased child safety.

The blind rolls back up slowly and softly thanks to the built-in soft-closing function.

Can be mounted inside or outside the window recess, or in the ceiling.

The cover panel alllows you to block out the light even if you mount the blind inside your window frame.

The cover panel is removable.

No need to change fittings or drill new holes if you change your blinds. The wall/ceiling brackets included in the package are suitable for TRETUR, FYRTUR and KADRILJ roller blinds

Broke after a YearJenniferI love this blind because of how dark it keeps my room. We bought this blind because of the ability to open and close remotely and it is on a window that is difficult to reach. However, after a year the open/close mechanism stopped working and the blind has remained closed. I am disappointed that we can no longer open the blind and hesitate to buy another to replace it. 3

Defective - return mechanism does not workGutThis may be a rare situation based on the otherwise positive reviews, but the Tretur blinds that I bought and installed are defective. The blinds do not return to the original "up" position as they should. They are worthless. I will be returning and will not be shopping at IKEA again for blinds. Extremely disappointed with the poor quality of these blinds. 1

Broke within a year of purchase...JentreI bought three of these for my bedroom. One of the blinds started separating from the pull down rod within a year of purchase. I figured there would be a warranty, NOPE! So I figured IKEA would give me a discount on buying a new one, NOPE! Fine product, but NOT quality. IKEA should be better with customer service. 1

Two different colors wth IKEA JoOrdered item #304.911.10 white shade because we've white walls in the room. The white shaded material comes with a dark grey plastic housing which sticks out horribly against walls painted white. Ikea's picture on their website makes it look like it's white. It isn't... it's dark grey. #Returning1
