What happens when you turn a knob? Where should the pot go? In this play kitchen, your child can cook make-believe food and invent their own recipes while developing both logical thinking and motor skills.

Article Number205.444.92

Product details

This play kitchen has a mechanical stovetop where the hobs turn red, to simulate heat, when the child turns the knobs. It also has a microwave, sink bowl, oven and space for small toy accessories.

The child hears a sound every time they turn the knobs.

The graphic details look realistic and show different temperatures and functions. Just like in the real kitchen at home.

On the 5 included hooks, your child can hang utensils in a row, just like adults usually do.

Design with clean lines in a neutral color with easy-to-grip wooden details that blend in easily with other decor in the kitchen or in the child's room.

Grows with your child. The height of the legs can be adjusted to 3 positions.

In the play kitchen, the child practices motor skills with utensils, learns action-consequence connections (turning a knob, red hob) and learns to do things in the right order (first cook/then wash up).

Encourages role play which helps children to develop social skills by imitating grown-ups and inventing their own roles.

Great play KitchenChristineMy granddaughter loves this play kitchen. It wasn’t too hard for her Mom to put together.5
Perfect!MkGreat for my little one. They love playing with it and I like that it doesn’t take up so much room. Easy to assemble, in my opinion.5
Perfectly neutral children's play kitchen.DonnaPerfect size and being gender neutral is a huge plus. 5
Instructions could be better RonitThis kitchen deserves five stars, it is adorable and feels really sturdy. However, the instructions are confusing. It took a little over an hour to put it together, which was expected, but we needed to take it apart and rebuild at one point. If the pieces had stickers labeling them it would have been seamless, in many cases we had to guess which parts to use. Definitely recommend, but know that until IKEA labels the pieces it’s a bit of a guessing game.4
Great little kitchen, but difficult to assemble!SherylProduct looks nice and is being enjoyed by a happy 2 yr.old. But, it was quite difficult to assemble. Instructions are not clear!3
Adorable kitchenBlairI love this so much more than the DUKTIG but I cannot for the life of me understand why the sink is not held in place. My toddler's favorite part of this kitchen is that she can remove the sink and carry it all over the house5

Function solution

Role playing – a playful way to develop

Mimicking parents and other adults through role playing is a way for the child to process impressions and understand their surroundings. Putting a soft toy to bed, building a road, cooking in the toy kitchen and serving dinner is so much more than fun play. It also helps the child develop their social, cognitive and motor skills. There’s is so much to learn!
