Damages Windowsills & Doesn’t Last Long RyanIf you have toddlers, these will be broken within a few days of installing. The Velcro that sticks to your sill will rip up any paint and damage the sill when it is pulled off. In my opinion it’s clipping the curtains up isn’t convenient for everyday life; it’s too cumbersome a task. The pleats loose their shape after a few weeks and just start to look cheap. The blackout set is a little better but I would just opt out for a traditional blind or curtain set. 2

The best choice for when you need privacy but still want lots of lightGraceOur rental house is located very close to the road -- our front living room window is literally right up against the sidewalk. I've struggled for years trying to find the right combination of curtains that allow lots of light in while offering total privacy, as the living room gets great morning light that I didn't want to get rid of with blackout curtains. These do exactly that. I cannot see when people are walking by (great for keeping my dog quiet), and no one can see into our house at night. Plus they're dirt cheap. They're not the most attractive or high end option, but they work great situated on the inside of the window with nice drapey curtains over them.5

Paying less for moreGenesisBeen looking for blackout curtains for a bit and couldn’t believe the price on these. I had to give them a try! They’re on the thinner side, but they blackout well! Just be careful when ripping the tag off, I accidentally ripped the curtain a little. I do wish they had more of sticky velcro to attach the bottom. Overall, amazing for the price! 4
