The fabric blocks out all light and glare on TV/screens. It gives complete privacy as shapes or light cannot be perceived from outside and the transition between day/night cannot be distinguished

Curtains with heading tape allow you to hang the curtain directly on the curtain rod using the rod pocket or tabs. You can also hinge the curtain onto a track rail using gliders and hooks.
The VIDGA track rail system holds curtains with heading tape using gliders and hooks. By combining it with RIKTIG hooks, you can create an elegant curtain display. Thanks to its versatility, VIDGA can be mounted on either the wall or ceiling.

Cheap plastic backingAmyThe color on the front is a beautiful, expensive looking warm beige tan. I was so disappointed when I touched the sample in store to find the backside is a black plastic, similar to a cheap waterproof bedsheet or maybe even a shower curtain. BIG PASS. Spend the extra $20-30 and get a different room darkening set.
Good valueShirleyFor the price, these work well. They are on the thinner side. I’m hesitant to use an iron on them as the back is plasticky (similar to waterproof sheets). I bought two sets and was pleasantly surprised all four panels were very uniform in length.
Low quality/plastic coated backingDebbieI don’t ever write reviews, but these curtains are such a disappointment. The color is a nice oatmeal until in sunlight & then they look gaudy gold. The fabric is super lightweight & the backside is coated in brown plastic. I’m sure if you ever ironed them they would melt.
These replaced a beautiful set of dark brown light filtering IKEA curtains. Sadly they were 15-20 years old & sun faded from time. I expected similar quality from IKEA. My room takes 4 sets & all other sets are just too expensive for my budget. 🫤
DisappointingMadelineThese are obviously not supposed to be black-out curtains, only “darkening,” but they are more like normal curtains as they let in quite a bit of light. Disappointed and would not recommend these.

My room stays dark even at noon, and I’ve noticed the heat drops noticeably on hot afternoons. The material is surprisingly light—not that heavy, stiff fabric you sometimes get—so they’re easy to hang and they slide open smoothly, depending on your method of hanging them. Great quality for the price. Would buy again.

Great curtainsErikaWish I could attach a picture here, but if you’re looking for light brown curtains for your space these are great. They are blackout. I added IKEAs laced curtains behind these ones so that the dark brown shiny side of this curtain does not show when people are looking from outside. From outside people see the white laced curtain and from the inside you see the beautiful light brown curtains. I recommend.
